Our straw slipper is made of seagrass and water hyacinth – special natural materials, 100% eco-friendly and non-pollution.
Seagrass is the only flowering plant that can live
underwater and a herbaceous plant. It lives in the plains affected by salinity
and alum such as the Mekong Delta, the low-lying areas in the Red River Delta.
The trunk of the tree is very tough and about 1.3m to 1.5m long, so we have
used to weave furniture like slippers, rugs, baskets, wall decor… for a long time.
When weaving, we split, dry and then woven the yarn. Seagrass yarns can also be
spun into larger yarns instead of the whole one.
Water hyacinth has been familiar to people in the river area
for a long time, but only some people know that these floating ferns are the

are dried, chewy and soft, creating products that are both durable and smooth.
